SubmitSentry

A warranty and repair checklist

Keep a careful record of a warranty or repair claim.

Warranty portals can fail silently, omit a durable copy, or move a case between ticket systems. SubmitSentry can help you keep a local record of the ordinary details you choose before you submit and the visible result afterward.

Five captures are included free. Lifetime access is €9.99 once.

Before you submit

  1. Read the written warranty and the warrantor's official claim instructions. Save the warranty and purchase receipt separately.
  2. Capture only ordinary details you may need later, such as the product, purchase date, stated warranty period, issue summary, and visible claim route.
  3. Remove passwords, payment-card or bank details, full serial numbers when unnecessary, private correspondence, identity documents, and anything else that should not be stored.
  4. Save the local record, then return to the warrantor and submit the claim yourself.

After submission

Attach the warrantor's own confirmation page, ticket reference, or official status when available. Keep any shipping receipt and tracking information separately. If no acknowledgement appears, contact the seller or warrantor through an official channel and ask whether the request was received.

Know the limit: a local SubmitSentry record is not proof of warranty coverage or receipt, approval, repair, replacement, refund, or legal entitlement. SubmitSentry does not file or submit claims, monitor case status, contact sellers or manufacturers, guarantee an outcome, or provide legal advice.

For U.S. consumers, the FTC recommends saving the warranty and product receipt. USAGov recommends gathering receipts, warranties, work orders, and records of seller contacts when pursuing a product or service complaint. Rules and rights vary by location; use official local guidance when needed.

Receipt content stays in Chrome on your device and is never sent to SubmitSentry's service.
